During my time at GenUI, I worked at the tech lead software developer to build a real-time emergency response platform for our client, ReactMobile. I designed and built scalable, resuable components in React and TypeScript, while menoring our three junior developers in coding best practices. I arrived on the project well into its lifecycle, and performed a large-scale refactor of the existing codebase which cleared up bugs and improved system reliability by an estimated 50%. This product ended up being sold to over 700 hotel clients, including the Waldorf Astoria Chicago and the Four Seasons Seattle.
